Nithyashree Venkataramanan, a singing sensation from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, has captivated audiences worldwide with her extraordinary vocal talent, versatility, and dynamic performances. Fluent in singing across 25 languages, she has firmly established herself as a global artist with a distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence.
Her journey to fame began as the runner-up of Star Vijay’s Super Singer Junior 2 (2010), followed by making history as the first Tamil Nadu contestant to reach the finals of Sony TV’s Indian Idol Junior 2, where she again secured the runner-up position in 2015. Since then, Nithyashree has performed in over 4,500 live shows across 15+ countries, sharing the stage with nearly every prominent name in the Indian music industry.
Beyond singing, she is a skilled performer with the kazoo (a unique mouth instrument), and she even showcased her acting talent in the Tamil movie “Eetti” as the hero’s younger sister.
Her digital footprint is equally impressive—1.6 million+ followers on social media and 1.1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel “Getnithyafied”, which has amassed 170+ million views. On this platform, she not only sings but also directs, acts, and creates original content.
As a playback singer, Nithyashree has recorded 37+ film songs and 20+ independent/album tracks in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. She has collaborated with some of the most legendary and contemporary music composers, including A.R. Rahman, D. Imman, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and Sean Roldan, among others.
