Dr. K. Sukumara Joins Advisory Board of Global Human Peace University

25^th January , 2025  – The Global Human Peace University (GHPU) proudly announces the appointment of Dr. K. Sukumara, a highly accomplished educationist and scouting leader, to its Advisory Board. His appointment brings a wealth of experience and visionary leadership that aligns perfectly with GHPU’s mission of promoting peace through education, service, and global collaboration.

A Journey of Dedication and Service

Born on April 1, 1950, Dr. K. Sukumara began his career as a teacher in Kerala (1970–1990), steadily rising through the ranks to serve as a Headmaster (1990–1995). In 1995, he joined the Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) as Deputy Director at the National Training Centre, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. His commitment and leadership saw him promoted to Joint Director in 2004 and Director in 2015. He is currently serving as the National Commissioner of BSG (2023).

National and International Impact

Over his illustrious career, Dr. Sukumara has conducted numerous training programs, camps, and events for the development of young minds and leaders across India. His notable contributions include organizing the National Jamboree in 2017 and leading international collaborations:

• Asia-Pacific Region (APR) Coordinator for Growth – BSG
• Attended the World Scout Jamboree in Japan
• Participated in APR Conference in Korea
• Represented BSG at the Chief Executive Conference in Indonesia
• Conducted leadership and training programs in Bhutan and Sri Lanka

Dr. Sukumara holds a graduate and postgraduate degree from Mysore University and a B.Ed. from Calicut University. He is known for his problem-solving skills, innovative approach, and passionate commitment to service.
